How to tell college about limited APs?

My public school is pretty new… my graduating batch will actually be the first one to have spent 4 years in it.
Its actually just the offshoot of the honors program at the parent school which got closed down due to management issues.

Anyways, funding is obviously a bit low, and consequently so are the APs.

Junior year, 3 APs available (calc AB, literature, and USHis) was available, I took Calc Ab, did well
Senior Year, I am taking the other two APs, in addition to the new AP bio class, and am selfstudying physics C and calc BC.

Now, my question is, is the fact that I am taking the most rigorous course load possible already made known to the college through the school report? Or do they just assume I havent been taking Ap classes because I dont want to. Would I have to explicitly mention it somewhere on the app (be it the Common app or whatever)

Your counselor reports how rigorous a course load you are taken, and your application comes with a school report that shows how many APs are available. You don’t have to explicitly mention it.

oh cool, thanks for sharing

If the school doesn’t require a counselors report, just put it in additional info. I explained that to one of the schools I applied to and I got in.

This won’t really mean much in the admissions process, since you will not have grades and your AP scores are released after admissions decisions are made. But good luck in your self studies.
