A group of my friends and I are planning on getting an apartment together next year. It is just supposed to be the three of us, as we are all compatible with each other. The other person, however, is someone we like, but just don't feel good enough to live with.
She brought up that she'd like to live with us in an apartment next year, but we are unsure how to tell her that we don't want to. But, how do we say so without hurting her feelings? We like her, but we don't want to lie to her or hurt her really badly.
We just don't feel like we could live with her at all. I understand she will be hurt by this, but how do we lay it down with the least amount of damage?
The apartments near campus go rather quickly, and we have to look soon, we don't want awkwardness to happen after we tell her we are not interested.
How shall we go about this?

Just tell her the truth; you like her as a friend, but not as a (potential) roommate.
