How to track scea!

how do i track my application. i am an international applicant from Malaysia. Do u think i should call in, or just wait a few weeks until they send a notification. or is there any website or link to check the status of my application.

Thanks

Due to the massive number of applications they received, they are backlogged a little. If you don't receive an email within 2 weeks of the day you submitted the application, then I would call. Otherwise just be patient :)

oh really? It's been 3 weeks since I send mine in. I think I should call.

has any1 received an official comfirmation from stanford that the application has been received ( including school forms)...

I think they'll send you an email which tells you how to check your applications status. Under the status, you should be able to see which documents have been received and which documents haven't gotten there. Now, all we have to do is wait for that email to come.

well i sent mine in 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything
so it's kinda freaking me out

did any1 try calling?.what did they say

I called them Friday...They said that, "E-mails will be sent out mid-november and if some document is found missing, they will give us some time to send it without penalty"...or something to that effect....

oh..thats wat they said online..that notifications will be sent mid nov..so i guess calling dosnt help much

I wouldn't start worrying until after the 20th. At that point, I'd call them to find out what's going on. Till then, just relax, if you're application is in, its in and they won't penalize you.

I know I should relax, but I've not been able to get my mind off stanford....I even keep thinking about it while studying the ways to calculate determinants using row transformations, which I am supposed to be doing now.....

Hmm...matrices, not one of my favorites. I try my best not to think about it, but still do a little bit while lying in bed before going to sleep. Just think of it this way, its all out of your control now, so just be happy and wait for that fateful day. :) And don't forget, your life won't be a failure if you don't get into Stanford, even though it may seem that way. That's the way I try to think about it.

No one's life will be a failure or a success based on just his/her admission to Stanford.....It's just that I want to be admitted...hehe
Oh and Toomuchpressure, for me, the worst part is that it is all out of my hands now......I'm kindof a control freak....

hmm.. well I put a post card in my envelopes. So I know which one they have definitely received. I'm still missing one teacher rec and one secondary school report Post card.

great!.. we can officially track at Stanford Axess.
puts an end to our misery of worrying about our materials

Sweet. https://axess.stanford.edu/psp/pscsprd_1/EMPLOYEE/HRMS/c/STF_AX_MENU.STF_AX_CHKLST_EML.GBL

click that link and type in your email. If its the same email that you put on your supplement, you should get a popup that says you've been emailed the status of your application. Sweet!

all my materials have been processed except for the school forms/school transcript...they are still processing them..

oh wow, where did y6ou find that link?

omg, my english teacher hasnt sent in her rec......
