What's the best and the quickest way to get a translated copy of the two teachers evaluations letters colleges generally require? Do I have to get an official translation by an agency?

Hm, I don’t think that you necessarily need a translation provided by a professional agency.

For example on Harvard’s admissions page is written:

“The Admissions Committee appreciates the effort that many applicants make in providing translations of the recommendations submitted on their behalf. Please note: All translations must include the name of the translator, and the a copy of original (untranslated) reports should accompany the translation.”

So I guess it’s perfectly fine when e.g. you provide the translation or an English teacher from your school and then include a paper with the translator’s name and a copy of the untranslated reports.
Honestly, admissions are already expensive enough. :)

I avoided the problem right away by asking two teachers for recommendation letters who are proficient in English anyway.

Thanks for this answer! That exactly what I was looking for! :-)
