Hi guys. I'm sorry if this was already asked, but I am new and really confused by this site so I am posting this even though it may already have been posted before.

How do you apply for Subject Tests and when should you? I want to apply for SAT II Korean, Biology, and Math II.

I am a very outstanding, well-rounded student but it just came to my realization I had no clue about any of this, although I am entering junior year!

Help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

To apply for subject tests you apply through collegeboard’s website. You should do it as early as you can as seats fill up at particular test centers. I believe that the korean one is only offered in November so for you, take it in november.

when do you recommend one should take it? beginning, middle or end of junior year?

if your taking the class for biology, i recommend taking it at the end of year possibly in june (it’ll provide some time after school ends to do a final review). during the school year, you should probably study cliffnote’s biology review guide or barron’s along side the class. math II doesn’t really matter; take it whenever you feel you understand the material (easy 800)

Yup, I recommend taking the bio and math ones after you finish AP for bio and either algebra 2 or pre-calc for math. Korean you’ll have to take in November.

Are you Korean / take Korean?

Either way you rock :P

thanks for the responses! ahhhh I didn’t realize how unprepared I was for the sat and subject tests.
I took bio in 9th grade… we’re not allowed to take ap bio till 12th… which is a dumb rule. however I loved, and i mean LOVED bio and got a 97% average for the year. even though it’s been two years, if I review a little, it should be fine, correct?

and yes I’m Korean American. I’m kinda ambivalent on taking the Korean sats though because i heard that colleges will just assume your a native speaker and look down if you get a low score or if you get a high score. there’s nothing else I’m interested in though so I’m stuck… :(

why are there so many spaces in my previous post… is it just a glitch in the app or…
