I wrote a letter to reiterate my interest to the school but when I give the letter to my teachers for advice, they all said the letter is not strong enough. I'm an international student so neither have I visited the school nor talked to any graduate student from that university. I just have closer look at the school website and discuss my eagerness to study there.(the letter is about 400 words,is that too short?) Also, I wrote about sth. I can do for the school, such as do something for the clubs, student government and the student newspaper.

Do you have any suggestions? (about the content of my letter, what to add and what to remove.)The people read my letter said that the Admission office would think that my letter can apply to any other schools if I change the name. BTW, how to write sth. to say that I'm a good fit?<---I really wanna know this.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!I really wanna go to that school!

Somebody asked me to add sth. about "why they should want me".
I think the description of what kind of person I am is already included in my application materials.

Look forward to your suggestions.

400 words would be fine. There is no minimum, just try to keep it not too long and more to the point.

You would want to point out specific details about the school and its offerings and why they are great for you (better than any other school). Mention how you would personally capitalize on these opportunities (i.e. a special study abroad program, special major they offer, specific activities), to make it more fitting to the school in question.

Thank you,fa-la-la-lena!

I wonder if I have to emphasize more on" why they should want me" & "why I'm a good fit" other than repeating my interest.

Make sure you say that you will definitely attend if you are admitted (of course, you should only say this if it is true). By this stage of the game, colleges get tired of going back and forth with the wait list and want to get the class finalized so they are looking for people who will come.
