How touristic is WUSTL?

Sure, WUSTL doesn’t have the fame of HYPS, and its ability to draw tourists is more limited than these tippy-top schools. Yet, architecture-wise, it’s still a gem of a campus…

So how many tourists do WUSTL actually draw?

Not a clue if any tourists actually come to see the campus itself, but I do know that people apparently go on tree tours. I think its something around >3800 species of tree on campus, and is apparently an arborists paradise.

By that logic, Sewanee should also be a botanist paradise…

I don’t know what that acronym means. I’m from an Ivy League college town that gets… not really tourists, but more often visiting parents/families from far away (Japan for example). Why would you want tourists? Do tourists go to any schools? Both my hometown school and Wash U have weddings (generally of graduates) in the spring especially. Both have tons of college tours for students and families. ???

I looked up HYPS. My hometown college is one of those.
