How was AP Euro

especially when they don't know how its graded lol

^Yeah it makes me feel more assured.

i think i might just have barely gotten a 5 with my predictions on how well i did
it all depends on how well i did on the Multiple Choice (hoping for a 60+ raw score)

its going to be a looonnnnggggg 7 weeks for scores. I'll be calling the second they're available.

i thought the multiple choice either had really easy questions or really random questions, but those were only a few and i skipped those 6. other than that i'm expecting about a 60/80 on the multiple choice. the essays was where i got a little confused. the dbq i thought was kinda weird. the topic was really difficult i think. finding bias was hard. i did positive views, negative views, and beating practices and teaching practices. i hope those groups are ok, although i feel they aren't. on the frqs, i did 3 and 5. 3 i kinda bsed my way through it because i didn't study that at all, but didn't feel confident in any of the other questions. 5 i felt pretty certain about, but i confused in my head when the first agreement was reached. anyone how much they dock off if the overall theme is correct, the essay answers the question, but a detail is out of place, in terms of timeframe.

the mc was easy!!! but there were random questions... my dbq was okay, it was kind of a sad topic, but i wrote like 5 pages, for my frqs i did pretty well, only they were kind of messy and i mispelled someone's first name (i hope the grader doesn't dock points off for that!!)
also, the testing environment was HORRIBLE, the girl next to me is always sick, and she was coughing ALL THE TIME!! what's even worse is that she's always going to be next to me for the future AP tests :( and she is always sick!!

aaaaagh.

hopefully i got a 5. i loved the m/c!!

I chose to do 2 and 5.

Much better than Calc AB =]

MC was so/so. Don't want to predict my amount right, bad luck.

DBQ- Cookies

FRQ's 4 and 5 CAKE!!!

Perhaps could have went more in detail in 5 but my hand started to hurt.

Think I filled 9 pages total

Wait now when you say "I filled four pages" and such, do you mean two front and back, or four front and back??

I did 4 & 6 so easy!!

FRQ4 was very comprehensive.

4 and 5 for me....5 was my favorite essay EVER!!!!

okay, when the 48 hour is over, I hope someone will post all the FRQs that came, coz I forgot most of them by now! It'll be helpful to reflect back! :)

I think we should share our "responses" to the FRQs in 2 days as well...and get an idea of how we would score based on our ideas.

The MC section really ticked me off. The questions themselves were ridiculously easy, but about half of them seemed completely irrelevant. My teacher is awesome, but didn't really spend any time (rightfully so, I believe) preparing us for the stupidity we were going to encounter on the AP. I'm really glad I picked up a Princeton Review book and looked through it the night before. I would really enjoy being asked questions that actually challenge me to think, rather than just regurgitate facts.

DBQ, of course, was weirdly obscure. It reminded me of the US one last year (apparently this year's was actually RELEVANT; I'm really jealous). Since it's curved somewhat, I'm not too worried, as I imagine few people knew a whole lot about the subject besides what was in the sources. The only outside information I was really able to bring in was info about the authors themselves, but I think my organization was pretty solid.

The essays weren't too bad. I could answer at least one from each decently. I took a lot of time on the DBQ and essay 4, but 5 was pretty straightforward so only having 25 or 30 minutes didn't really hurt. I think I'll probably end up with a five, because I definitely did well on the MC.

I was very ill prepared for this test. I have been studying for weeks, but I still thought the MC section was harder than any practice test I have taken. My teacher is new and really is not that good, and frankly, I think she didn't prepare us at all.

The DBQ was somewhat difficult because it was hard to group the documents IMHO.

I chose 3 and 7 for the FRQs and I thought they were pretty easy. Then again, I have no idea what I would score because my teacher has not given more than a 4 on our essays (which is complete bull)

so... we have a final in euro this friday and i'm confused on a general theme that i seem to be misunderstanding on every test i've seen it on. what caused the decrease in the birth rates in the late 19th/early 20th century?

^^^ There was a decrease in birth rates because of the numerous feminist movements which granted women more rights and priveleges. For examples, abourtions, child care, better jobs...etc. So women tended to have less children because they want to give the best enviroment for their children, hence fewer children. I hope that helped.

Did anyone else find the MC really unbalanced and having no relevance to history? I spent a lot of time studying important stuff, but little to none of it was on the test. I think I did alright, but the MC ****ed me off.

I thought it was hard when i left the test, because i skipped like 15 questions (so effin dumb of me). but then i googled the ones i remembered and a LOT of them were right. so far, i've only gotten fiveish wrong!!

MechaSnoopy - my sentiments exactly.
