How was Bear Facts Orientation??

theres a dance?
is it like a school dance?
did people actually dance?

people did dance, but in my opinion it wasn’t that good

Because of budget cuts they won’t have a DJ.
At my orientation they just had some kid with an iPod and speakers…

oh so i’m guessing the majority just talked?

LOL. I was looking forward to the dance up until the point where you said “ipod and speakers.”

yep i was just in there for like 2 min and left

Are we allowed to bring our own cars and park them there overnight??

yeah, there’s parking space, and I think it was free, but not sure

haha orientation was fun. i stayed up all night too!

I hope mine is cool too I have it two days from now. It will be the first time I drive over a 100 mile distance by my self :p

lol the highlander day was my first time driving 50 miles LOLOL .-.

Someone told me the person who owns that iPOD was one of the RAs from E1 during SUHP. xD

is playfair MANDATORY?
cuhz i have slight OCD. i can’t stand touching people or vice versa…

Uhm, if you tell one of the Orienation Counselors there, I’m sure you can step out of it. It’s REALLY fun though. Tiring, but seriously a great way to meet people and have fun haha. :]

Dunno. Some kids I knew just sat it out at the corner of the room after a while

If you don’t want to no one will force you

My orientation starts tomorrow, but I’m still a little bit unsure of what else we do at orientation. Do we just play this game called PLAYFAIR for 8 hours, or what? What else do we do while we’re there for the weekend?

If it was an RA, then he has bad musical taste

playfair is only 2 hours ;)

heres the detail by forevermore

Im a bit nervous lol

were the events indoors?

Almost everything was indoors

only the initial “get-to-know-everyone” thing with your counselor, which is really short and informal, and the SOAR expo, was outdoors
