I pretty much agree with what a lot of people have already said: MC no-calc was okay, MC with calc was easy, and I thought most of the FR was brutal. Hopefully I pulled off a 3, no thanks to the FR.

Am I the only person who thought the FR was the easiest part?

Naa. I agree.

Scoring Sheet for BC Calculus

Section I - Part A

(No. Correct) ___________

is 7 omits for the MC section bad (they were all on the non-calc portion)?

I think ~65 is what you need for a 5 on BC.

ummm no. that conversion table sucks

5 64-108 40.2%
4 53-63 17.5%
3 36-52 23.1%
2 26-35 9.1%
1 1-25 10.2%

that is the 2003 cut scores

for 1998 the cut score for a 5 was 65.

ugh im really hoping for a 5. My school only gives credit for those. And, i already have credit for Calculus 1, and i dont want to learn it again... ugh. I think i did well enough but you never know.

So far I think I got (worst case):

40/45 on the MC

I made a couple of silly mistakes, the biggest one being tricking myself into using an improper integral (I can't believe I missed that one, a whole 9 points!), so I probably got

41/54

= 89/108 = 82% - what would that be?

that's definitely a 5, One. a pretty high one at that.

Sweet.
I think I managed to pull off a 3.
Here's what I think my score will be
(MC no calc + MC calc) * 1.2 + FRQ 1to 6
(0 + 10) * 1.2 + 6 + 3 + 6 + 6 + 6+6
= 46

That would be a 5 :P

MC non calc was a monster...I skipped 9.
MC Calc.....Complete joke, except one of them, which required actual thinking.

FRQ-calc...The first one was relatively easy, think i got all 9 pts....II was hard, we never learned that stuff....III was easy fo sheezy
FRQ-non calc...easy medium HARD...wow.....the last question raped me, not only did i run out of time, I guessed on most of it

My school gives credit for 4's or 5's on either AB or BC so...If my AB subscore is atleast a 4, It'll be just as good as a 5 on BC (which is what i took)

i'm going with a total of 67 raw score for me (this is assuming i got 3 wrong of the MC that i thought i got right and 2 points off each FRQ that i thought i got right)
meh, really close to the borderline, but i'm happy with a 4

i'd agree with kornpopz, left 7 blank on the first and then might have aced the second mc
except i didnt know how to do III on either of the FRQ's

MC was overwhelmingly easy, I'm almost sure I got 54 points on that.

Probably missed a couple points on the FR cause of units or not justifying extremas well enough on #2 (it was just the intersections, endpoints, and t=3, right?)...maybe 51 points on FR is what I'm expecting.

so 105/108. Is that a 3 or 4?

that's 6 :)

actually that's a DQ for discussing test questions/answers

have a nice day :)

Are you kidding?!? "Is that a 3 or 4?"

That's definitely a 1!

More like a 0.

What are you talking about? The first derivative of that is negative and the function satisfies the initial condition f(0)=-5, so the answer is clearly -1.
