yea it was a lame joke eh...

for what it's worth, i will admit that I think that the FRQ was harder than what they've done on recent tests, even if it didn't affect me at all (i'm a math competitor, though, so this type of stuff is my strong point). So the curve will probably be pretty lenient for anyone stressing about it

edit> oh yea, forgot about the rule, my bad...didn't really give much (if at all) of the question away though

It made me realize how much I suck at math.

The FRQs went okay for me, but I had trouble on the non-calculator MC.

I can't believe people thought the Calc FR were easy!

for bc

multiple choice was extremely easy, i think i should have gotten around a 52-54 on it (raw score-wise)

FR though, as everyone said, was hard for the most part.

EDIT: don't wanna discuss individual questions. but anyways, the free responses were all very doable, but hard for the time frame...i.e. some questions took a while longer than 15 mins

Ugh.
I just realized that I also made a calculator mistake in FRQ #1.

Is there a BC subscore? or just a BC overall score and AB subscore? I read that 60% of the test is AB stuff, and I got a perfect score on an AB practice test administered by my teacher, so, assuming I did around that area, would I really only have to get some BC right to get a 5? (even though I'm pretty sure I got most, if not all, of them right unless I didn't give a good enough justification or made a careless mistake, though I found out that I did in part one of the first free response question)

Form R and form Q had the exact same questions but in different order

MC noncalc = eh... it was pretty difficult for me because I don't know my series
MC calc = a lot easier than I thought it would be
FR calc = easy, except for maybe a part or two
FR noncalc = easy, except for the MONSTER that is #6 >_<

I was feeling pretty good about the test until I got to the last FR question. I freaked out and forgot all the concepts necessary to do this problem (even though I re-studied it just this morning before taking the exam), and spent nearly 20 minutes on 6a trying to derive it. =/

I really wanted a 5, but I suppose I'll get a 4 at this rate, especially with the conversion table shown above.

The non-calcuator MC was not easy.
The calculator FR was not easy.
The rest was.

I just thought the whole thing was hard :(
and for a 5 the scale is like 67-180

How difficult was this test overall compared to previous years?

I had Form Q for BC. I didn't study much for BC because I took Calc AB and only decided to take BC about a month or so in advance. However, I knew how to do most of the ones that were the same as AB (1 and 2 on FRQ Part A and 2 on FRQ Part B).

I had an extremely easy time in Calc AB and got 5s on all the practice exams, but this time I felt like I totally messed up. I guess that is just from the BC part though. I skipped about 4 MC problems total. I felt like I knew all the rest on both calc and non-calc, but I probably made stupid errors. I think I got a 3 on BC and a 5 on the AB subscore!

I'm not sure many people took it more than once so... :P

I hope it's like 60ish for a 5 lol and i hope i got some points on number 6!

ChaosTheory - I definitely thought this one was harder than all the practice tests from previous years I took. The problems were pretty much the same types, but involved a lot more thinking and more complicated ideas!

Yep. It was twice as hard as practice problems I think.

You see, we don't say things like that because we read other threads about how people got screwed over by talking about the exam specifics before 2 days was out.

It wasn't Lagrange.

One of the FRQ questions was almost identical to a question that I did in Barron's. :)

I'd say if you bought Barron's this test was a joke :P
