Haha. SEE I'm not crazy thinking the test was easier than I expected.
I still bombed it anyway. :P

I really want to see the solution to some of the FR questions but I guess I'll just have to wait patiently until Friday. Btw, for those who said #6 was hard was it form Q or R? Because number 6 on my test was the only one of the FR questions I know I got right.

A lot of the questions were AB material. Overall, I thought it was easy.

Forget Barrons. Do the practice tests from the Green and White book by George W. Best and J. Richard Lux. Now that was a pain. Of course, it got me ready, but it also caused nights of supreme anguish and inferiority complex.

it was horribleee

haha. For class, we were assigned all of the chapter practice problems in Barron's. And then, last week, we were assigned the two tests. THat's in addition to all the FR since 2002. YAY for overprep.

XD. I was at the point of like 2 (almost) full practice tests a night since last Friday.

Almost being that I skipped the Free response. Every chapter we covered, my teacher made us do like 7 hard free response questions, so I was pretty much covered on that. Haha, and that's in addition to all those practice exams she made us take in class.

What a blessing to have a good Math teacher.

Same here...Our teacher is great, she even came by to visit us today though she's giving birth to her baby soon. She absolutely overprepared us, we did all the FR since 2000 + some really old ones (like 1987), and we started review materials in March. I think last year only 2 ppl in the class didn't pass, I hope this year everyone in our class gets 4s and 5s!

and a commonplace teacher may ruin your AP and even your interest in the subject....sigh...could have studied more in stats.

Our BC calc teacher has a perfect 5 record. No joke. I do not want to be the first one to kill it.

Last year our BC was all 5s and one 4.. This year, the class is smaller and on the whole, we're not as prepared..

MC was EASY!!!
Calc FR's were easy as well.
I believe I ended up nailing every FR, although I did have to erase massive sections of work and do much backtracking-thank god for working fast.
I'll be shocked if I don't get a 5.

Yatta!, do you, by any chance, go to school in the West-Windsor Plainsboro district? I know that the calc teacher over there has a perfect 5 record. Just wondering.

my teacher last year had a perfect 5 record.
yeah.....I ruined that for her this year :(

Yes One, I do O_o, My teacher is Mr. Cornell. I am sorta scared because I am in his AB class and I took the BC exam. The exam was not hard though.

Don't cram for Calc BC. There's too much material. Instead, try to do cumulative review all year.

i wouldn't worry about it guys. i took it today too, and I was able to do everything, but i messed 6 up completely. However, when I was talking to a couple of kids who took the test last year, one of them said that he left an entire fr question blank (i.e. 0/9 pts automatically, no partial credit) and still got a 5. I would assume that the CollegeBoard made the fr beastly to make up for the easy mc. Meaning that, in the end, it should all balance out.

Or I could be totally wrong.

the one annoying thing about this test, for me, is that the mistakes i made were so absolultely ridiculous. I feel that most people who do well in the course throughout the year tend to make algebra mistakes, and not calculus ones, so there ought to be a good bit of partial credit handed out.

honestly, the MC was a joke (I had 4DBP-Q), especially the calc part of the MC. finished with 20 minutes left but was too energized on iced mocha to take a nap.

free response w/ calc was so hard, i'm glad a lot of you guys think that way as well, means the curve will be prettttttttty nice. non-calc was stilll kinda hard for FRQ, but i think I averaged 7-8 points per question.

granting I didn't make a ridiculous # of stupid mistakes, i'm confident that I may get a 5 (if that makes any sense)

i initially thought that the bc test wouldnt be too bad. im not so sure if can i get a 5 now though.

non-calc MC wasn't too bad, but it was defintely tougher than some of the released tests. there were a couple i had to change my answers to because of stupid arithmetic errors

calc MC was ok, only like two or three questions stumped me. i think i ended up skipping one

FRQ was pretty hard. although most of the part A, B, C questions were not too bad. there were a couple that were quite tough.

shouldve studied my series and taylor polys better

does anyone tthink that the curve would be a bit lower than usual this year?

btw. i took form Q

just remember the functions and you should have done ok,

my calc teacher hasn't had less than a 5 in the last 7 years :P

yea the test wasnt that hard...i think either a 3 or 4..maybe even a 5 if all the FR i did was right LOL.. but crammed BC in 3 days being a AB student. anyways only physics and biology left
