How was your financial aid?

<p>Hey guys, my EFC was estimated to be around 22k, but all I got was loans. Is this normal for U of I? I heard their financial aid is not that good. I'm not complaining or anything.... it is what it is. Did you get a crappy award letter too? lol</p>

<p>P.S. I'm an engineering student, so my tuition is estimated to be $45k per year.</p>

<p>I got absolutely nothing and my EFC was just a little higher than yours. U of I doesn’t have a lot of money to give, so their financial aid isn’t very good in general.</p>
