How weird is it to take both World & US history?

Ok so I decided to take the sat subject tests and I’ve actually taken them before (and cancelled my score). I’m pretty horrible at math and I don’t really have an interest in science. I tried taking lit but it was super complex and I don’t think that’s something you can easily nail down in 2 months. It’s just based on whether you’ve always had those analytical skills or not. I’ve also taken French before but I’m absolutely terrible at French and the french sat subject test is hard to people who I know did well in my French AP class. So, can i take both world and us history? I know sat subject tests are supposed to show case what you’re interested in and I definitely plan on minoring/double majoring in history and something else.
And if you think about it, it’s totally normal to take like physics & chem (two science tests), so is it ok to take world and us history?

sure, but you would be wise to take them only AFTER taking APUSH and AP Euro classes, not before.

@menloparkmom hahaha a bit too late for me to wait until after i take ap euro:)

??
OP has not indicated that s/he is taking AP classes. Regardless, AP European History would be pretty useless for the SAT World History Subject Test

dont take subject tests you are not prepared to do well in .
You have your first ACT score- just take the ACT again.

@menloparkmom idk the colleges I’m applying to don’t require it but if I do well, I’ll probably have a better chance? i’m just wondering if it’s ok to take both or if i have to take something else

subject tests scores are not anywhere NEARLY as important as your GPA , ACT [or SAT scores] and the rigor of the classes you take.
So concentrate on those.

I dont know about that… DS took those 2 classes and scored in the high 700’s on those 2 subject tests.
But he also was always an avid reader of history…

I’d venture to say that was probably better prep.
