Are they beneficial to take for someone with my desired double majors of Political Science and International Studies? And I was also wondering if you must take the US History one as a prerequisite for the World History one. I am knew to all of this and apologizes if these seem like absurd questions. It’s just that, I tried to register for the Nov World History SAT II and it wouldn’t allow me to select it, so I am a little confused.
For that major, good choices would involve a foreign language and either or both History test (and/or English Literature)
However, not all tests are offered for all dates, and in November World history isn’t offered.

@MYOS1634 I appreciate that. You’re very helpful. I have been considering those all as well. Is it absolutely necessary to even have subject test?
For top colleges, it helps. For some, it’s mandatory. Georgetown wants 3 and all other colleges that recommend or require the tests want 2. ( Unless you’re an Olympics athlete or attend a low performing school, consider “recommend” as “required” or “advantageous if good” Obviously only send 700+ scores.)
My recommendation would be to take English Literature or your foreign language as well as us history in November, then whatever you scored lowest in plus world History on December - or if both November tests were 700+, take the Humanities subject you didn’t take in November.
& no, you do not have to take US before World.
@collegemom3717 @MYOS1634 You all have been extremely helpful and I appreciate it a lot. I think I will take y’all’s advice. I am planning on taking the Oct. SAT, the Nov. SAT II (Spanish, US History, and English Literature,) and the Dec. World History.
