My school offers very few AP and honors courses, especially none in the ones I need (Sciences). Therefore my only option has been to take dual-credit courses at a community college.

I will have taken Chemistry, Physics and Biology there by the time I'm going to university. What weight does UF put on these courses? I will be taking the SAT II for each of them, is that good enough? The only thing I'm worried about is since they are "intro" courses at the college, they won't qualify for engineering. Does anyone have experience with this?

I've taken tons of dual courses, and I think that UF weights them .5 for your GPA. If you are instate, your credits will probably transfer, depending on your degree program and how they match up.

At the tour I went to over the summer, the admissions lady said they will start weighing dual enrollment classes one full point starting this year.

I don't know why you are taking the SAT subject tests. They are not required, and I don't think they can help all that much...

Intro courses will at least count for gen ed. It's all good. They won't go to waste.
