How would you feel going to school with Malia Obama?

I'm not taking sides, just wondering how different it would be to go to school with a (former) president's daughter. It would be pretty cool to meet her but think about the special treatment.. She seems to be interested in the same schools as I am, and we graduate the same year, so it's interesting to think about haha ¯(ツ)/¯

I’d stare at her a lot.

@dsi411 Well at least you’re honest haha

@SippingCoffee‌ what year does she graduate? What schools are you interested in that she is as well…?

@Spiral7 We’re both class of 2016, and word is that she’s been looking at Berkeley and Stanford… So this would only apply on the basis that I actually get accepted to either of those schools hahaha :P

Um according to friends who go to their school. They are kinda average, ignoring the fact that they are the president’s kids. The secret service detail is a bit laid back.

@wcao9311 yea, true… and I don’t think they’ll have secret service since she’ll be 18?

I know people who go to high school with her and like @wcao9311‌ said, they’re not that much different than anyone else.

I’d be extremely intimidated and disappointed know that 1.) she’s the president’s daughter and 2.) she’ll have a higher chance at admission for being the president’s daughter among other things… Since her parents are Barack and Michelle, it can expected that this girl probably works her butt off and has good values. Either way, I still envy her.

Clearly, Malia Obama will be given some “special privileges” for being the president’s daughter; since this is something that she did not earn, I suspect I would be a bit peeved, at first, but I think she could contribute an interesting perspective to class discussions.

I would find it to be cool, but it’s no big deal.

I wonder if political biases directly or subliminally affect the everyday lives of the president’s daughters… I mean, it would probably be in favor of the daughters for the most part: DC is pro-Democrat and teachers tend to be Democrat, so…
