<p>Going about to start a Mu Alpha Theta chapter. I mean the paperwork and such I can get easily, I have a sponsor set in place, I have a partner ready to work with me, but what else should I do?</p>

<p>Do people in your school actually want to participate?</p>
<p>Ask people around your school if its even worth starting one, or better yet, ask people in your school if they even know what it is.</p>
<p>Well we have a large student body, particularly IB. Even with the work, mention it looks great for college and I can get 30+ people like that. As of current, I have a sponsor, my partner, and a few preliminary interests. I can ask around and get people, and I’m in a good relationship with the Math department, so I can get them to mention it.</p>
<p>Talk to a math teacher who could help you run it.</p>
<p>Well I do have a math teacher interested. He is as passionate as getting one started as I am.</p>
