Yup, went on the website and saw it. Oh well, at least I’ll finally learn to swim masterfully instead of dog paddling everywhere.

@thedreadedone , me too. i probably won’t be able to only if i get accepted but i hear the dorm showers are closets ??

the .5 is the little drive through i did because it was raining outside lol…

I’m also planning to apply to Howard and it is my top choice. I plan on majoring in pre-pharmacy

@Court922 When I visited the dorm showers didn’t seem that bad. Howard is also making tons of add on’s to the campus to make it more up to date.

O and I plan on going to howard fall of august 2013. Hoping I get accepted and the world doesn’t end lmao.

O and to everyone who hasn’t visited Howard yet! You should go visit during homecoming week! My friends just got into Howard and thats what i’m doing because I hear Howard homecoming is a wild night.

I’m debating about Howard University. I know very little about it, but I do know that it gives great scholarships lol. As of right now, I am good for the Legacy Scholarship, which is free tution and fees. Anybody else ranked in any of these? [Grants, Scholarships & Fellowships - Howard University](http://www.howard.edu/financialaid/grants_scholarships.htm#Freshman)

I went to Howard again yesterday to personally give them all of my forms and just to inquire about a few more things. I also saw Drew Hall in its entirety and the rooms are normal sized. The closets are about the size of a normal house refrigerator, but its split in half. They recently installed these 3D looking rectangular things in the wall which was supposed to be for an AC, but the guy said that they never got to it lol, so now its just a random external arch that takes up space lol. They have two more bins where you can store your cleaning tools (for lack of a better word) and they also have two bookcases in the wall…and I forgot to visit the showers…AGAIN lmao

As far as the scholarships, there’s a couple of people on this site alone that I’ve seen with the Legacy Scholarship…Malikwal and I have gotten it lol…And one more thing with that particular scholarship (and probably all of them), all of the fees aren’t paid for by the school. I think there’s still a $100 globalization fee, a medical fee, a lab fee, and one more that I can’t recall.

I qualify for Capstone, but I really want Founders. If anyone’s knew to Howard I suggest you get familiar with YouTube’s HU Reaction. They’re a couple years old now, but extremely informative. They film and comment on The Yard, the College of Business, the College of Arts and Science, the Quad, the Annex, the Library, etc. Plus they have homecoming and step shows filmed.

yeah i’ve seen like all of the HUreaction videos lol, i especially like the welcome to howard ones lol

How are you guys’ grades and test scores?

Yea, I qualify for the Capstone Scholarship too, and I hear their pretty much guaranteed if you are eligible. I guess I need to start raising money from outside scholarships to cover board and books.

And yeah, the HUreaction videos, specifically the Welcome to Howard series, made me check out Howard and want to come here. Now it’s my #1 choice.
