Howard University Class Of 2021 Applicants

I didn’t see a thread for Seniors applying to Howard for the class of 2021, so I figured I’d start a thread. Feel free to post your stats, and other schools you’ll be applying to.

Best of luck to those applying for the Class of 2021!
If anyone is interested in the BS/MD program, you can read the experience I posted in the old thread. I’ll update it with my first year experience to provide more information on it.

Applying as Political Science major. She’s also applying to Georgetown, Columbia, Barnard, Fordham, Tulane, USC, UCLA, and UC Santa Barbara.

@MSHopeful Your daughter has the exact stats I had in the last cycle. As long as you apply early, she’ll definitely get the Presidential Scholarship.

@Nedcone Awesome! She is applying by the EA deadline of Nov. 1.

Apparently, Howard doesnt offer those scholarships anymore. They have new scholarships with higher requirements. ^#(^ the lowest ACT score you can have to be rewarded any merit is a 28 and that only covers tuition. https://twitter.com/juicylorr/status/661553018211577856

Did anyone get an acceptance or at least some kind of correspondence yet? I submitted my application on 11/14 and haven’t heard back at all from Howard other than confirmation email from the Common App.

Applied on 11-1, received email from Howard advising I would receive notification no later than Friday, Dec 16

Thanks @masondixie. Apparently because I applied through the Common App I’ll only be receiving correspondence via mail and not e-mail
