How'd you do this semester?

5 credits
Still in finals week, but it looks like 3 A’s, another A or B+, and a B in honors chem which is considered a killer.

That being said, I hate my college.

My grades are finalized. I took a total of 5 classes and 16 credits. My GPA is a 3.75. I earned 3 A’s, 1 A-, and 1 B+. But since I want to transfer, my GPA is not high enough and I am severely disappointed in myself. With luck, it will be a 3.88 after next term.

I don’t want to talk about it. I am just glad the worst semester of my life is over. Ask me this again in May.

4 A’s, 1 A-, and 1 B. 3.78 GPA and 4.0 in both my major and minor. So happy :-)

I did horrific or maybe I’m just aiming way above my head
Who knows, maybe I’ll turn out to be one of those self made billionaires

If anyone is looking at these results of people getting one B+ and saying they didn’t do well just remember to keep it all in perspective

By that I mean take the major, the courses, the year, and the school all into consideration

It is my first semester of college (attending a community college). I got four As and one B.

Not that amazing.

I’ll be working my tail off next quarter. I could’ve done way better. One of the classes I took was mainly due to harsh grading by the professor that resulted in a low grade. Also a lot of disinterest and lack of motivation in my courses. Next semester should be more interesting and hopefully I’ll be able to implement some better study habits this time around.

Every semester I do better! I got three A’s and one B this time! :D

Prefect 4.0 which I was not even remotely expecting on top of 40 hour work weeks and doing stuff for grad school.

I’m really very frustrated right now. I know a B+ isn’t a grade to complain about. I was totally the person in high school who hated the kids who complained about not getting an A. But it’s just. so. frustrating.

I got:
FREN 595 SEL TOPICS IN FRENCH
GERM 109 BEGINNING GERMAN I A
HIST 112 US HIST SINCE 1865 A
SOCY E305 SOCIOLOGY OF THE FAMILY A
THEA 252 STAGE COSTUME CONSTRUCTN A
THEA 370 INTERMEDIATE ACTING B+

Waiting on my French grade… Probably a B or a B+. Which I’m fine with. I actually think I deserved that in that class.

Good I guess. Overall 3.9, but I didn’t get lower than a 95% in a class. (my tier 2 public university’s 4.0 requirements are 98% and above.) I take quietly pride in this but hope to 4.0 next semester. (or hopefully 3.9 them if my classes end up to be horrible)

Just wanted to know because i got a C in one of my classes, is getting a C in a remedial college class a big deal?

@juhong613

I assume it varies. I know at my school, the “remedial” stuff is not “college level” and doesn’t count for credits or GPA.

Got a 4.0, giving me a 5-semester GPA of 3.73! So, I made the Dean’s List for the second time. I also passed two more CLEPs, making five total for 20 credits. Sounds great BUT, I had a mid-term disaster! I was taking A & P I as an elective and had to drop the class because I had a midterm ‘F’! Arrogant instructor from Hell (M.D.), and only 8 of 18 stayed till the bitter end. Thankfully my school shows withdraws only as “W” and not “WF” (Withdraw Failing) if applicable. Anyways, I replaced it with two half-semester Business classes & pulled 'A’s! I’ve also got Education & Psychology classes & an undeclared major. Where to go from here but strongly considering English. I own a home here so I can’t transfer out, and not sure where the best online options might be to finish my bachelor’s. Any ideas??

Terrible. One B, one C+ (I was 3 points away from a B-), one C (I had a B on the two midterms, so I’m guessing whatever grade I got on the final brought it down to a C), and one C-.

Since the class is just remedial, it wont count on UC’s or CSU’s unless you fail or get a D correct?

My DD did great but she is upset by the one B in Spanish. Languages were never her thing. And since she took 20 credits and audited another 2 credits I think she did amazingly well. Now just to convince her of that, she was disappointed.

4.0/18 credits. 24 total credits completed.
Not bad for a first semester freshman. :)

Moved my 3.81 up to a 3.85 (Unweighted.) Good luck to all of you!
