How's my college list?

Hey what's up everybody I'm looking to get into a college w/ a good engineering program and all that. I'd say I'm a pretty good student but I'm not a genius or an EC extraordinaire or anything like that. How realistic is my college list?

Stats:
3.773 GPA 20/283 (7%)
SAT I: 710M 600V = 1310 + 620W = 1930
Retaking in Oct. and taking SAT IIs in Nov.

I've taken mostly honors and AP classes. Demanding schedule but not the MOST demanding. Concentrated on computer/technical classes. I'll have six APs by the time I'm out, one from 10, two from 11, and three this year.

ECs: nothing spectacular but involved in each one
- NHS 2 years
- FBLA 3 years
- Skills USA 1 year
- Community service 5 years: hospital volunteer/daychair 550 hrs + counting
- JV Math League 1 year
- Varsity Math League 2 years

For those of you who know, I'm also A+ certified.

So how's my college list and my chances of getting into each of them? Please respond, and thanks for the help.

Carnegie Mellon
Cornell University
University of Virginia
Virginia Tech - ED
University of Maryland
James Madison University
George Mason University

Carnegie Mellon and Cornell are reaches. U Maryland, UVA, and Virginia Tech are matches. I would drop James Madison and George Mason and substitute some good engineering schools. Vanderbilt, UNC, Bucknell

UNC is a good engineering school???? Which UNC?

lehigh would be a good match for you, great engineering program

cool thanks. please respond people! a horrible reply/view ratio. collegehelp you said UNC, but which UNC are you specifying?

None of the UNC's have good engineering (except UNCC for computer engineering).

NC State is the public NC school for engineering. The other nearby engineering schools are Georgia Tech, Clemson, the Citadel, and Duke.

North Carolina State Raleigh for engineering
