How's the cold in Minnesota?

<p>So I live in Wisconsin and my top 2 choices for college next year are twin cities and Ohio State.</p>

<p>I prefer Minneapolis over Columbus but I'm not sure how cold it gets in the winter there. How is it in the summer, spring, fall and winter? Is it always cold or is it not that bad?</p>

<p>As a lifetime resident of Northern MN, I don’t consider the cold to be that bad. It’s pretty much the same as Wisconsin. Up here, it gets a little chilly some days, but its usually at least 5 degrees warmer in Minneapolis.</p>

<p>Normal winter temperatures in the Twin Cities are comparable to Green Bay, slightly colder than Milwaukee. Nothing you aren’t used to.</p>
