<p>how are the applied math and pure math departments?</p>
<p>this one teacher really sucks. dont know about the rest of them. i do have a friend who's majoring in math though, and she's having a blast. it's one of those many many "it's what you make of it" type of dealies i guess</p>
<p>I don't know much about the Math Department, but I do know that the Applied Math and Stats department is one of the "hottest" programs at Hopkins. </p>
