HS Class of 2010 :: Chances at Colleges

I was just wondering what my chances are for a few schools. . . 3.3 GPA, 32 ACT, and have taken the hardest classes in my school since my freshman year. I am really worried I will not get into the schools I want to go to because of my low GPA. I will have a few rec's and also participate in a few extracurriculars. Chances?

USC
U Washington
Indiana U
U Maryland
U Conn

Thanks.

I have a friend at USC, he told me no one got in with under a 3.5 UGPA...any way you can raise that?

^unweighted, seriously? it seems like if u take the hardest classes in your school [like me too] there would be a little leniency...

Hey I would fully agree, but thats USC for ya

i didn't know they were that selective of a school...

Smart,

That is just friend to friend what he told me. Please don't give up on your dream school because of that info. I'm just letting you know what my friend who attends USC told me.
You are talking about USC in Cali right?

The gpa part is true but your ACT is way above the 75th percentile.

oh, lol it's np. not my dream school or anything, just a consideration that i have yet to begin looking into, really. yes, the one in cali. but thanks :)

p.s. according to college board, they have a pretty okay distribution of GPAs, to an extent. not impossible or anything with that ACT score (:

Thanks a lot everyone! I am retaking the ACT and will most likely score a 33 or 34, so that SHOULD raise my chances by a little bit.

EDIT: I can raise my GPA after this semester and over the summer to a 3.5 or a 3.6 at the highest. Thanks again, everyone.
