I'm a current sophomore at a large public high school in Texas. I'm wonder what classes I should take for my future schedule?
Current
Pre-cal
Ap WH
AP Chemistry
AP Human geography
Humanities English GT (gifted & talent
Business information management
French 2 prep

What math classes should I take for my next two years? Would boosting my rank help to get acceptance, or is just being top 5% okay? Currently 29/600. Btw lots of ap classes are offered at my school. Thanks!

Take as much math as your school offers – through AP Calculus BC. Take 4 years of one language – through AP. Take 4 years of English and focus on courses that require you to analyze and write. Take a mix of science and social science courses – through AP for 2-3 subjects. Take AP economics if your school offers it. Take the AP exams for all the AP courses and aim for 5 scores. Find a passion among the Non-academic opportunities your school offers and take on one or two substantial leadership roles. Quality and depth trumps quantity. Aim to stay within the top 5% academically. Make yourself visible in a positive way to your classmates and your teachers. Best of luck.
