^ never heard of the guys’ brands

Yeah kind of…I live about a 10-15 minute drive from the beach. The keys are great, I miss the island life. & I love sanibel island, but I haven’t been since i was like 12. It’s way prettier on the gulf coast than the atlantic.

@lovesavage: I’ve been to Arizona…way to dry for me and there was no damn grass anywhere lol nothing but red rocks & gravel.

^ agreed. I do have some clothes from there but you can’t tell they’re from there (and when people ask where i got it they’re surprised). But the whole ABERCROMBIE thing is totally smh

A&F and Hollister are fine, except the clothes that advertise the brand. I see kids with pink shirts screaming ABERCROMBIE across it and I just smh. On the other hand, I have this gray romper from there that’s actually pretty cute.

Rocks are the state tree.

I live in SoCal:

Girls
Leggings/jeggings
UGGs (those who wear them with shorts are just whack)
Boots besides UGGs
Bandage skirts
Sandals
Shoulder-bearing tops
Bandeaux
Toms
Urban Outfitters (people are obsessed)

Guys
Wearing their pants too low (we honestly don’t want to see your boxers)
Vans
V-necks (imagine that)

Those abbreviations annoy me.

Ya, I live in NoAm. It’s in the WeHem. On PlEar. In MilWay.

Hahah the guys where I live do not dress like that. They wear Wallabees, topsiders, jeans/corduroys and like fleece or some sort of jacket in winter/late fall/early spring, and like khaki/plaid/cargo shorts in the warm months with like basic/sports tees (long or short sleeve). Sometimes plaid shirts. Girls’ clothes are similar; urban outfitters and BP (in Nordstrom) are popular

@lovesavage79 Hey, it’s the lingo. Californians like abbreviating everything. Take the word abbreviation, for example. It’s now abbreve.

(girls’ clothes are similar to what you said girls wear where you live, not to guys’ clothes were I live)

I’m not going to lie. I’ve got a UO obsession too. Half my tees fall of my shoulder & TOMS were the greatest shoes ever invented…just sayin’

Oh & uggs with shorts should be banned. Point, blank, period.

I want toms. What kind do you guys have? I kinda want the lace up ones

I have the black burlap ones, a yellow pair & then a pair that are tie-dyed with glow in the dark neon colors, but i don’t think they make those anymore. I wear my black toms so much they’re getting holes tear

ahhh i need some. going shopping today forsure. and I just saw your post about sanibel! yeah the gulf’s great, my family has a condo there! ironically, my moms like bored with it and always wants to go to SC, but I like southern FL. I still have yet to see the keys!

Toms=ftw! You should buy some, they’re awesome! &yes you have to visit the keys! During the summer, the local kids run wild aha it was like we had no rules there…sh-t kids even go to cuba when theres nothing to do lol but seriously its alot of fun. But some of the islands have like nothing but old people so those ones tend to be quieter and boring, but I lived in Key West & it was always stuff to do.

This girl who’s obviously fashion-conscientious has this awesome pair of sparkly gold Toms. I kinda want them.

karaoke: aren’t you a dude?

Jai: I definitely wanna go this summer. Wait is it that close to Cuba!?

Key West is about 90-100 miles from Havanna, Cuba. I’ve been twice xD

I thought you’re not allowed to go if you’re from the US!

you’re not…xD but if you don’t get caught by patrol anyone is welcome ahaha people do it more than you think! Stuff is so cheap in cuba!
