HS sophomore messed up first semester?

<p>First quarter I got 3.2 uw..a C is Hon. Alg. 2 brought down my grade, which resulted in me dropping Hon. Alg 2 and switching to general. But,second quarter, In gen. Alg 2 I think I might end up with a B/B+...how does this look to colleges? I do admit that I was a little lazy, but a slipped up once or twice, and that's the reason behind the grade. I know that it's evidently bad.</p>

<p>What if I get a 4.0 for the next two quarters and try to maintain that in junior year?</p>

<p>One slip-up will not destroy your chances at getting into college. Just work hard and try to improve.</p>
