Am I screwd b/c I am not taking German 3? There is no room on my schedule!!! I know Penn likes at least 3 years of a modern laguage....

One of my friends was accepted and he had 4 years of Latin and 2 of Greek. Those languages havn't been spoken in two thousand years.

Most colleges want at least three years. If there's a class you can bump out of the way to continue German, I would.

I had one year of french, one year of chinese and one year of latin. I got in.

And Greek is still spoken.

^Ancient Greek?

Well, now that you've made the distinction.

got in with only two years of a foreign language

a friend of mine got in with one

same here my school offers only two years of ARABIC as language which has to be taken in 10th grade and 11th grade. Is it ok?

I took two years of Spanish and got in. Though three years is probably preferred, I don't think just two is going to kill your chances.
