<p>Does anyone know of the Higher School Certificate of NSW Australia? How do U.S Colleges merit it, if at all?</p>
<p>I’m sure they look at it. Most of the HYPM Australian academic recruits I know scored 99.8+. I do have a friend who got in without HSC, but she had a lot of APs and a killer SAT.</p>
<p>lol, you shouldn’t worry about the merit. US colleges are familiar with most types of High School diplomas. They have been doing this for many years and thus they will know how the school system and grading system works in each Australian state</p>

<p>To give you an example, I got into Duke without reporting any of my SATs, only with HSC + ATAR.</p>
