My son was accepted. From Georgia.
My S hasn’t gotten any response yet. He wrote Biology and Chemistry as his preferences, didn’t give any specific subfield. Could that have an impact on his chances?.it appears they were sending decisions till late April.
I haven’t gotten anything either. Probably rejection then? Oh well. I’m so happy and relieved that I managed to get off the waitlist for Garcia, otherwise I may well have not gotten into any summer program! (though I’m still waiting on SSP)

Yeah, the acceptance rate this year is about 8 percent.

I got accecpted as an alternate a few hours ago? Is there any chance at all of getting in? I know that people who got in here and also got into ssp or RSI or something may go that way, but it seems like there were a lot of alternates. My brother also was accepted as an alternate. Anyone know anything about this?

Accepted!!! My areas were nuclear physics and astrophysics, since I did the Physics of Atomic Nuclei program last summer.
Is there a Facebook group for accepted students or anything yet?
Were you an alternate? Are they sending out acceptances to alternates yet?

The deadline for those accepted to “accept” their spot in the camp was April 20th. They will probably notify alternates of open spots soon I would assume.
Wait what? Has everyone else received a decision? They never emailed me anything.
