<p>So I was waitlisted at nyu and for some really stupid reason I took my name off the waiting list. I don't know what I was thinking but I'm really dying to go to nyu. Is there any way you think I could still be considered for the waitlist? I tried calling today but office was closed and I'm freaking out!</p>

<p>I really think you should consider which schools you applied to and which schools will help you the most in your life with your education. It sounds like your gut is telling you not to go to NYU and you are only considering it now because maybe you have a friend going or its “the cool” thing to do. Really think about it before making a decison. The school may not still offer you waitlist status. They offered to waitlist you once and you turned them down. The only thing you can do is call and see what can be done. I know when I get my acceptance letter to NYU I jumped up and down and was so excited. I KNEW that I wanted to go to NYU. You dont have the reaction.</p>
