Hey guys, I need your help. I dont know what to do. I am a sunday tester due to religious reasons and I live in long island. Anyway, I just got my admission tickets for the SAT and SAT2s in May and June, and they placed me in some school in upstate New York as well as put me for a Saturday test, which I can take. My school is closed now for spring break so I cant fix this problem until next week and the test is in 2 weeks!! What can I do to fix this now - Thank you

Call the College Board -- Today. Your school won't be able to do anything about it. There should be a number on the information you received.

I called they said I have to go to my GC and make her register me so I can take it in my school because she says theres no available spots or something like that, and I wont see her until Mon.

Wow! Tough situation :/

If worst comes to worst, explain your situation to your GC next week and then ask her to take the May 7th test as a standby test taker....

Whats a standby test taker?

A standby test taker is someone who did not register for an SAT test but wants to take it anyway. Therefore, the person goes to the place the SAT is being held with extra fees and takes the test if someone else doesn't show.

You can read more about it here:

I hope it doesnt come to that because that would suck if I cant take it.

Then that's what you need to do. Your GC will take care of it on Monday. Just to be sure, though, give the CB another call tomorrow and see if you get the same answer.

wow, pretty tough.
i would do what BigIs is suggesting. you'll probably get a different operator and s/he may say something different. collegeboard is the one who's supposed to be solving these problems, not your school.
