<p>Just discovered that my college counselling office doesn't a) calculate GPA for students, nor b) rank them. They say that because Peddie grades harder than most public HSs in the area, they give Pton and so forth the mark spread in the class, and let them see for themselves. </p>

<p>My D's highschool doesn't rank. Not to worry--Princeton and other schools of this caliber "know" your school, its reputation, the challenge of its classes, and the kinds of students who attend. You will not suffer because of lack of rank.</p>
<p>my school doesn't rank either... besides, doesn't admissions just look at your courses/grades and recalculate your GPA so they can compare everyone on the same scale?</p>
