Have any regular or transfer applicants heard yet?

I havent heard anything and I considered myself well qualified and my alum interviewers said that I was a shoo-in

I think they find out april 1st.

What is the acceptance rate for the human ecology program? Is it significantly easier to get into than the regular Cornell admissions?

my alum told me it was a lot easier because most people apply to arts and sciences

but... there are a lot of females so being a male will increase your chances

http://dpb.cornell.edu/irp/

The stats are all there.

I applied to human ecology as well, and from what it seems like on this board not many ppl applied there. Also im guessing they havent sent out likely letters, have they?

I think some of the rolling admissions colleges as welll as A & S sent out likely letters but HE hasnt sent any letters out yet

Is the midyear report the make or break component of the application?

I got an email today from Cornell saying that they need to see my midterm report in order to review my app. I responded to them saying I wont have the grades available for a few days. The person I was talking to said that this would allow the counselor to make the final decision. BTW, I'm a transfer app.

well then I think for you it is the make or break point
