Human Factors Programs

Does anyone knows any good undergraduate Human Factor Program in the east cost?

what is human factors? its not listed on the princeton review list of majors

The only place i've seen anything similar to that listed was at the University of Illinois, and it was listed as Aviation Human Factors. This is the program for people who want to be pilots, but also have a four year degree and don't want to be an AE. That is oversimplified and there are other options, or other human factors degrees.

Human Factors is also call Human Engineer, Or Ergonimics Engineer.

University of Central Florida has a very strong human factors program for their graduates.

Is Human Factors a complete undergrad major? I thought it was just a supplemental certificate you add to specific majors so you can do studies on how to improve usability, etc.

It really varies on the department. Many students who attend universities that do not have human factors programs per se concentrate on taking engineering classes and cognitive psychology classes, as human factors is really a merging of both these fields. It is a degree however, that really requires a post-grad education, such as a MA or PhD
