Human Geo Self Study?

So I hear this test can be pretty easy and I wish to self study it. Will a prep book be sufficient? If so, which one? When should I start studying for it? Is the material easy to understand? Just a few Q’s.

Thanks CC.

I took the APHG exam last year, and it wasn’t too bad. A prep book would be more that sufficient enough. I know some people who took it with maybe 2 days of study from the Barron’s flashcards and got 5’s. So, the best prep book in my opinion is Barron’s. I know they changed it up a lot this year, but as far as I’m concerned the material is easy to understand so beginning to study up to a month before the exam is sufficient. Lastly, if you want to be REALLY prepared, I noticed that Princeton Review cut down on its size for APHG by about half. PR used to have A LOT of superfluous info, but I know it can help you even more as it has a lot more questions/practice tests and diagrams/graphics. PR also has a lot easier reading material than Barron’s.

So it’s up to you.
