MIT requires a letter of recommendation from a humanities teacher. Is that basically my history teacher? I’ve had World History, US History, and will have US Government/Economics.
The humanities are English and Social Studies. My school considers foreign language as a humanity, though it is in a different department. I would just have your recommendation come from an English or history teacher.
