does the humanities 1a-b-c count for both the writing requirement and the humanities requirement?

Yes. It fulfills two GE requirements (IV Arts and Humanities and VII Multicultural studies) and your lower-division writing requirement.

TAKE THIS CLASS. It is so worth it.

so if i take humanities 1a-b-c, i wont have to take 39B writing right?

Right

Keep in mind that if you’re a humanities major or in the chp (unless you’re an engineering major), you have to take hum core.

what are these series about?

Is it three separate courses?

Yes, it’s three courses that must be taken (and passed) in sequence. A-B-C means you have to take them in order; whereas, A,B, C means you may take the courses in any order.

is there any other courses that fulfill 2 or more GE req?

im in chp

DONT TAKE THIS CLASS IF U CAN HELP IT

Brayz,

Yes, there are several courses where you can double dip. One way to find them is to look at the printed catalogue (or the PDF version online) for courses with more than one GE number. Make a list of those that interest you and plan to take them when you can. It’s particularly encouraged for GE VI (Multicultural Studies), VII (International/Global Issues), and IX (Laboratory or Performance).

Major requirements may satisfy GE’s as well. Sometimes it’s even possible to triple dip and meet two GEs with a major requirement.

Brayz, what are the cons about this class? Is it tough?
