-Does anyone go to Hunter College?
-Hows the location?
-Science department...(pre-med)?
-Music (?
-Housing, if any?
....and yes I do know Hunter is not the typical college experience...but I don't really know much about the school...so, any info???

anyone there?

I don't know much at all about Hunter, but all I have to tell you is that you better like NYC...its very cramped looking (from what I saw) and not the prettiest, but you have access to the greatest city in the world, take advantage of it.

I don't go to Hunter but I grew up walking past the place every week. The location is great if you really like being in the middle of the city. It's very accessible since the 6 train is right there on their "campus." It's not really a campus -- more like several buildings bunched together. No grass or a lawn to sit on.

Housing I believe is not given to you unless you're in the Honors program. If you get housing, you'll love it since you're basically living in the city where there are stores everywhere (pets, clothing, food, etc).

Unfortunately I don't know much about the music or pre-med field at Hunter but I heard Hunter is a good environment for people looking to work as social workers or in the psychology field.

Thanks...what are the requirements for the honors program?

There are no listed requirements (grades or SAT wise) but it's generally known that most applicants score very well in their SATs and have a strong academic transcript. However, I'm sure there are people who get in with low scores so don't worry if you're concerned about your standardized test scores. Here's the website: http://www.hunter.cuny.edu/honorscollege/apply.shtml

I'm working in a lab at Hunter over the summer, so I can tell you about it once I start (June 21, if all goes well).

Yea that would be great..im actually going to visit soon too
