Hunter or Queens or City for Computer Science major?

Hey!

I’m having a hard time to choose which college is better/best for the computer science major. I heard, currently, in Hunter C.S. department is rising so, I’m more into the Hunter right now, but I don’t know…
I don’t know anybody who is currently attending any of those colleges, and most of the information I found that could help to choose a better college for C.S. are dated (mostly 2013~2016).
Also, which college has a good job recruitment?

My goal is to be a software developer or engineer and work in Google or other big company! I know my goal is huge but it’s worth trying!

So, please help me!

Thank you so much!

CCNY is considered the best CUNY for CS. But if you’re majoring in CS and have the skills, you’ll do just fine with any of the 3.

Some people don’t like that Hunter only offers a BA and not a BS in Computer Science because you have to take a lot of liberal arts classes. But employers aren’t going to care whether you have a BA or a BS, if that’s what you’re concerned about. I’m doing CS at Hunter starting this fall. Since I already have a bachelor’s, I don’t have to worry about all those liberal arts classes, I can just go in and take all the CS courses I need.

so are you doing CS for a minor? Are there ways to get B.S. not B.A?

No, I’m getting my second bachelor’s degree in CS. You can get a B.S. from Queens and City, not Hunter.

FYI, CCNY Computer Science curriculum requires Calculus III (20300: Calculus III), while the other CUNY programs only requires up to Calculus II. CCNY also offers Computer Engineering (CE) as a major; the other CUNYs do not offer CE.
