Huntsman Program

How much harder is it to get in to the Huntsman Program at Penn than just getting in to a different major? That program at that school is my dream but the fact that it could be more challenging scares me seeing as the admissions rate is already 10% for the school normally. I want to know because Penn is my dream school and if it is going to be too hard to get into the Huntsman program I would rather go to Penn for a different major than sacrifice my chances of getting in.

I think it’s the most selective program at Penn.

Harder than the m&t program? @DrGoogle

If at all possible apply ED.

It’s extraordinarily selective, as it should be.

Post #2, yes. M&t is slightly more selective than Wharton but not as selective than Huntsman.

^^source? It’s very hard to find statistics regarding Wharton admissions.
In my personal opinion, there will be more applicants for Huntsman because there are many more students who are fluent in a second language because either their family are new immigrants or they have lived abroad and many are also foreign students. Perhaps the % of admissions is skewed lower.
In M&T,math strength is stressed.
Average salaries of Huntsman graduates have always been lower than that of Wharton only and M&T.

Huntsman is not more selective than m&t or lsm. More people apply to huntsman than lsm and m&t because the difficulty of math, science and engineering prob puts off many students from applying. Lsm and m&t are much more rigorous programs than huntsman.
