Nobody started a thread on this so I will.

Fordham University did just fine during the storm and students who remained on campus were safe, warm, dry and well fed. All is well as the campus returns to normal.

However, Fordham draws a significant number of students (families) from the Tri State area in New Jersey, Connecticut and New York/Long Island. Those areas were severely affected by the storm with power outages, homes burned to the ground, massive flooding, loss of power, trees down on vehicles and homes, blocked roadways, and a very messy and dangerous situation.

Please keep Fordham families in your thoughts and prayers as they sort through this disaster. And keep prospective applicants in your thoughts and prayers. I have no idea if Fordham will extend the EA deadline for those affected by the storm.

All classes have been cancelled for the week as the university struggles to get faculty and students on campus with no subway, train or bus service available. The Manhattan tunnels are flooded and need to be pumped out. Its a horrific mess.
