Anyone else taking advantage of the early decision deadline extensions at schools? We did have a big impact from the storms and it made October so crazy he almost decided not to apply ED because he just felt like everything was so rushed. But now I am reading that some people have already had their interviews and I am worried it will be a disadvantage. When he spoke with admissions they were super casual about it which, as a parent, makes me nervous. How can he make sure they don’t overlook his application?
If the university granted an extension, then they granted an extension. Stop worrying. Without knowing the college, interviews are set up by the alumni office, in general, and their timing can appear random based on interviewer availability.
