I’ve noticed a few schools extending their application deadline for ED and EA by over a week. Why do some colleges do this? Is there anything to read into this at all?
Generally when they’ve extended deadlines, they’ve done so because of some natural disaster. So some colleges extended deadlines this year for people affected by Hurricane Michael.
I was wondering the same-----SMU, Lehigh, CWRU, U Denver are several I have seen offer another day to another two weeks. I wonder if ED apps are down, or if it is rooted in accommodations for those who have experienced hurricanes and deadline was just extended for all.
