Hurricane........

its overhyped for most regions. Some will actually get the described impact like their saying on the news.

How bad are 70mph winds? Enough to make a car fly?

I’m so scared. IT’S COMING RIGHT AT US

Me too :frowning:
But are you guys going to study for the SAT this weekend? I’ve got nothing else to do!

I’m going to take a BB practice test. I’m actually hoping my power will go out so I won’t be distracted by the Internet lol

Oh cool! Good luck
I’m also going to take a practice test, but for the PSAT because I’m staying at my aunts house while my parents are down south in Oklahoma.
I’d take a BB test, but the BB is too heavy for me to haul around with all my other junk :(

Anyone here live in NC? How was it?

MD. I was sort of freaked out, but now I am bored and want to go shopping. We were going to go to Virginia this weekend DX.

@SilverAurora: I’m from NC. I was in the outskirts of the storm. It was pretty windy and rainy. It knocked down some limbs in my yard and knocked down the basketball goal beside the driveway. The power flickered off a few times. It wasn’t too bad, but my friends down east toward the Outer Banks took it harder.

How long did it last for you and how long did it last for your friends? Was there flooding?

It lasted from about 5-6 am to about 2-3 pm (I was taking naps so I didn’t keep track). My friend in Greensboro only experienced the wind, while my friends down east (Outer Banks) starting experiencing the whole thing since early this morning (thinking about 1-3 am, but not sure).
