Husky Card / Orca card

<p>Hey guys, I know the husky card works similar to an unlimited orca card, but when can I start using it? Would it work now?</p>

<p>I am a new transfer student, just got my husky card, but I was reading on the website about "activating" it, and I'm a bit lost on that. I'm used to having an orca card that I add money so I can use it, but apparently this bus pass is different. Any help would be appreciated</p>

<p>It’ll start working September 18th, you just have to tap it on a bus/ferry/light rail.</p>
