So earlier I had asked about whether it would be okay to write an essay about my religion ( or lack of) and the general opinion seemed to have been it depends on the context and stuff. So I have written a draft and would like to know if anyone would be willing to read it and tell me if it pushes any buttons or is inappropriate. Anyone ?
I would not ask online people to read the essays.
Trusted ones, sure. Like college students or adults. People who would have no need for an admissions essay for themselves.
@CrimsonZa I don’t usually critique essays on CC since I am not an expert with admissions essays. But as @bodangles said, others might be willing to look at it.
As an 63-year-old agnostic lawyer who (a) writes a lot and has read many essays from kids posting here, (b) is married to an Episcopal lay reader, and © has a daughter who was a acolyte and built part of her common app essay around that, I’m happy to take a look at it if you want to PM it to me.

The main suggestion is don’t send essays to new or fairly new users, since you don’t know what their motivation in offering to be a reader might be.
Sorry, I just have no time to critique essays, although others might.
