I already have a good ACT score, should I take SAT anyway?

Yay second post here :p

Have a couple questions,

I got my ACT scores back from the recent September test and my scores were as follows: 35C 35E 35M 35R 33S 31E+R 8E

I took the test in March and got: 33C 36E 33M 33R 30S 34E+R 10E. Should I send both scores to colleges that superscore for the better English and Writing scores?

Also, I signed up to take the 10/1 SAT test. I'm happy with my recent ACT score (heck I was satisfied with my March score anyway) but my dad just wants me to take the test for "fun" since I paid to take it. I haven't really studied or anything for this test so there's the chance that I might just bomb it. If that was the case then I wouldn't send the score to any colleges of course, but would there be any consequences for just having that bad score on record?

for sat they only send what you choose to send, so take it for fun

If you apply to a college that requires all scores, you may have to send the score. Also, many high schools put all your scores on your official transcript sent to colleges. Thus, you should not assume that you can necessarily hide the score if you take it. The only possible reason for taking the test is that you have a high PSAT score and need an SAT score to qualify for a possible National Merit Scholarship. Otherwise, I would skip it.
