1850 - 1899... no?

I have no idea, I don't comprehend this statement, "The second half of the 19th century".

I actually hate myself for being an ****.
sigh

1850-1899...

uh.........nice thread

dont worry stuff like that happens.

Edit: You never know if he really wanted this question answered. =/. It might sound dumb but some people just don't know about certain things. It may be a difference in phrasing in different areas or something, but I doubt this.

Either way...yeah, it means roughly 1850-1899. 19th century (100 years, it is the 19th one).

Gah, I suck at explaining. I don't even know if what I said is correct or even remotely understandable. =/

HOW MANY IDIOTS CAN THERE BE

IF YOU DONT KNOW THEN TAKE IT FROM ME...

sorry for quoting that fake mexican, but it rings true here

tell me some of yours. Make me feel comforted..

I once said that LDA is a nucleophilic base...I feel your pain.

What the hell is LDA anyways? I could probably have labeled it as a nucleo..uh base.

Anyways, um, 2 random stuff I had this year-

I put sin(30)= 4. Absolutely NO idea why I did that. For a test. The teacher was grading the tests in class the next day while we did our hw and she suddenly started laughing her ass off. x.X

Um, another time for bio there was a question that said something like "What is a sequential regrowth of a destroyed habitat" or w/e. And I put down: Hydrogen Bonding. HYDROGEN BONDING. How the hell did I get Hydrogen bonding? ...
Either way, the teacher came up to me and said she took off only 1 point instead of 2 because it was so ridiculously hilarious.

For the record, if there's anything I don't know on the test I write anything in there, usually "Chuck Norris", "World of Warcraft", "Pop Tarts", etc. I did this for math once (ran out of time for 2 questions and put "Gandalf the gray" for both of them) and got busted. =/

haha thats freakin hilarious..

sin(30)=1/2

If you read that article I'll respect you (which is hard to do on the net, especially in CC's HS forum)

ArtOfMind, you're not an idiot. There are some things we just come across suddenly and don't know. To me it seemed perfectly clear that it meant 1950 to 1999, but you learn something new everyday. :]
